Charles B. Hope, Jr.

Principal
Continuing a tradition of Hope family architects and engineers,
Chuck founded the firm in 1993 and brings a wide variety
of structural engineering experience to the table. He has
managed projects ranging from R&D to criminal justice
and education to industrial. A graduate of San Diego State
University, Chuck earned his BS in Civil Engineering in
1983. He is a licensed professional engineer in the state
of California.

James Amundson
Principal Engineer
Principal
Jim brings over 20 years of structural engineering experience to
Hope Engineering, joining the firm in 1999. He has served as
the Managing Engineer for a number of complex, multi-million
dollar projects in healthcare, education, commercial, R&D
and retail markets. Among his qualifications are seismic evaluations
and retrofits, due diligence investigations and value engineering.
He received his BS in Architectural Engineering in 1982 from
California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and
is a licensed professional engineer in the states of California,
Arizona and Utah. |

David McMaster
Senior Engineer
Vice President
With over 20 years of professional engineering experience including
structural design and project management, Dave's major California
projects include Nokia I and II, Maintenance Warehouse, Pacific
Plaza Torrey Hills, R.W. Johnson Pharmaceuticals Research Facility,
IDEC Pharmaceuticals Headquarters Nobel Research Center and
Sorrento South Corporate Center. A graduate of California Polytechnic
State University, San Luis Obispo, he received his BS in Architectural
Engineering in 1982. He is a licensed professional engineer
in the states of California, Nevada and Arizona. |

Bradley Lowe

Vice President
As the most recent senior level addition to Hope Engineering,
Brad brings over 20 years of structural engineering and project
management experience. A 1982 graduate of California Polytechnic
State University, San Luis Obispo, he received his BS in Architectural
Engineering. Brad's extensive experience includes the design
of a wide variety of commercial and institutional facilities,
forensic investigations, and rehabilitation of existing buildings.
He is a licensed professional engineer in the states of California,
Arizona and Nevada. |
