Hope, was a prominent architect designing projects into the late 1970’s. His father and uncle, Charles Hope, Sr. and Frank L. Hope, Jr., continued that standard of excellence with such high-profile projects as the San Diego Stadium (today's Qualcomm Stadium) and the San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina (formerly the Intercontinental Hotel).
